Design engineers at SKIL gave this all-in-one tool an aluminum tabletop height of 1-1/2 inches, the same height as a piece of scrap 2x material or two pieces of stacked oak hardwood flooring. This design safely supports extra-long flooring pieces, so they don't bend or tip off the table as you cut.
